The Whitehall Historical Society has an important mission. Their mission is to discover, document and celebrate the History of Whitehall. The Society is located in a historic Lustron Home that was manufactured near Whitehall. They remain active in Lustron recognition and preservation.
The Whitehall Historical Society is involved in many community events. They annually have a Fourth Of July float entry, frequently have featured speakers, fundraising events, provide historical records, dedication ceremonies and are involved with National night out.
Whitehall is a truly an all American city that grew from a small farming community to that of the nation’s fastest-growing one in the years after WWII. It exemplifies everything American and is a testament to living the American dream of that era.
Whitehall is seeing a revitalization and is bustling with restaurants, new housing, motels, churches, recreation, modern schools, and abundant economic growth.
